Blitz Clean-up & Beautification: Willmore Park

Description: Hello Friends!

Please join Friends of Willmore Park for a wildflower planting day in Willmore Park on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10am – 1pm.

Meet us in the first parking lot after you drive into the park.

We will plant about 200 native plants and could use your help. We hope to have about 15-20 volunteers helping out.

Wear outdoor shoes, bring drinking water, and bring a digging-spade, if you have one. We will have tools for everyone.

Specifically, we wil be planting water-loving plants to make a “wetland garden.” We are planting in a place in the park that holds water after it rains.
