A tip of the cap to the Cornelsens
A Tip of the Cap to the Cornelsens
As we dreamed of establishing our Demonstration Garden and Learning Center there were many contributors, both large and small, who helped make this dream possible. We have been honored and humbled by all of the support. Some of the most outstanding features in the garden – the shade structures and entryway – have been made possible thanks to the generosity of The Cornelsen Charitable Foundation. Trustees Casey St. John and Kristie Cornelsen have embraced this garden and have been very generous in helping connect St. Louisans with the natural environment.
It’s a privilege for Brightside to be a recipient of their generosity and to have the honor to help recognize some very wonderful people. The monarch gateway entrance is in memory of their grandparents, Paul and Floy Cornelsen. The purple coneflower shade structures are in memory of their parents, John and Barbara Cornelsen.
St. Louis will benefit from the kindnesses of the Cornelsen family for years to come. Thank you for bringing such joy and beauty into so many lives!
