“Green Dogs” St. Patrick’s Day Clean Up in Dogtown

Volunteers Needed!

Purpose: Although the city cleans up Dogtown after the celebration, hundreds of bottles and cans still run into the sewer during the festivities. The Green Dogs are there to prevent those party fouls! Last year, they diverted about 1,000 cans and bottles from the sewers.

When: Just before noon on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

When: Meet in front of Seamus McDaniel’s (1208 Tamm Ave.)

What will be provided: Push recycling and trash cans, bags, brooms, extra gloves, cleaning cheer.

What you should bring: Dress warm. Bring a water bottle, gloves and a raincoat. Bring a backpack to carry any extra items.
