Keep Brightside Working for a Better St. Louis!

It still amazes me to think that Brightside has been around for 41 years now! While St. Louis is not perfect, just think what our city would look like if there were no Brightside!

This year alone…

• Nearly 6,000 volunteers participated in 300+ neighborhood clean-ups and planted more than 120,000 flowers.
• Brightside crews removed 235,000 square feet of graffiti from over 2,200 homes, businesses, vacant buildings and public spaces

Unfortunately, we all know the frustration of seeing graffiti that the Brightside crews can’t safely reach to remove. Or the litter rage we get when we see someone throw litter out of their car window or don’t bother to walk to a trash can.

Yet if we focus on the frustrating, we are not giving due respect for all of the hard work that has been done!
