Description: Join FPSE neighbors in beautifying Chouteau Park and improving urban wildlife habitat!
We will be planting a native garden at the southwest corner of the park (near the intersection of S. Newstead Ave and Chouteau Ave). Most of the prep work will be done the previous two weekends, so we will just be planting native perennials, shrubs, and small trees, and moving mulch on this work day.
We will have tools to share, but (if you have them) we encourage you to bring gloves, shovels, hand trowels, pitchforks, and wheelbarrows for the planting day (October 12).
There will be snacks and a water cooler to refill water bottles.
