Medical Equipment Donation Drive

“Laura Cannon founded the St. Louis Help Equipment Lending Program (HELP) in 2008 to serve those in the St. Louis metropolitan area who are in need of home medical equipment. This non-profit organization collects used home medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches. The equipment is loaned at no cost to the uninsured, elderly, or disabled.

If you have home medical equipment that you don’t need anymore, there will be a collection event at twelve area Walgreens locations on October 11th. You can drop off items on that day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Click here for details and locations or call (314) 567-4700. Surplus equipment will be forwarded to other non-profits and to medical clinics in developing countries. Equipment that is not repairable will be disassembled and recycled.”
