Meet Me Outdoors in St. Louis

Join Brightside as we share exciting upcoming programs and events to kick-off spring in St. Louis with fellow outdoor enthusiasts like yourselves!

When is it?

 Saturday, April 1st, 2017 from 10am-3pm

Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 from 10am-3pm

What is it all about?

Featuring a fun line-up of active, outdoor experiences, exhibitors, experts, and more at Missouri Botanical Garden, Shaw Nature Reserve, and the Butterfly House, the Meet Me Outdoors in St. Louis weekend festival invites people of all ages to embrace their role as citizen stewards – celebrating, connecting with, and conserving our region’s great outdoors.

In addition, re-connect with nearby nature, learn about citizen stewardship opportunities and celebrate the outdoor gems of the St. Louis eco-region. Visitors of all ages, backgrounds and abilities will be invited to construct micro-habitats like nest boxes, insect hotels, and native bee homes; try out a few outdoor activities including Canopy Climb, geocaching, and more; interact with experts from the region’s national, state, and city parks and reserves; take home native plants and native plant gardening and landscaping design ideas and inspirations and pledge to spend more of 2017 exploring and stewarding St. Louis’ great outdoors.
