September Blitz Events – Volunteers Needed!

Description: Join us in the garden as we rebuild the walking path! The path was overtaken by weeds and well….we need help rebuilding it!
 Please bring lots of cardboard with you and a shovel!
Ameren’s forestry department is donating 4 truckloads of wood chips for the project and now we need volunteers to help place the cardboard and wood chips on top of the cardboard to make a walking path!
 That’s where you come in! So gather your best friend and let’s have fun!

Description: SUNDAY, 9/11 | 10:30am-12:30pm MURAL MILE LOVE THE ART. HATE THE TRASH. Come join Blue2Blue Conservation on September 11th down by the river and marvel at the magnificent mile of man-made murals. This special wall of graffiti art will impress everyone of all ages, but the trash that lies around it will not. So please come out for a couple of hours and help us clean our beautiful riverfront so others may enjoy! Remember, if it's in the street it will end up in the creek (or river). Side note: There is some awesome art created by extremely talented artists down there and if you haven't seen it yet, you should! Even if you have, it's probably changed. (The biggest annual graffiti artist festival, Paint Louis, is happening there on Labor Day weekend, so there will be some amazing fresh creations by local, national & international artists!) Afterwards, feel free to enjoy our beautiful downtown, the St. Louis Arch, the Landing, and the Mighty Mississippi, which you just helped to make a better place.
