Celebrating 40 Years with 40,000 Daffodils!

Thanks to our Brightside supporters and volunteers, over the past few weeks 40,000 Carlton daffodils were planted in public spaces around St. Louis city!

Volunteers gathered around City Hall (shown above) to plant daffodils on the grounds and in the nearby parks. We appreciate the support from VP CSI, STL Volunteers, St. Louis Master Gardeners, Washington University APO and AMEN STL that helped us plant nearly 5,000 daffodils alone this past Saturday.

Earlier in October, neighborhood groups and nonprofit organizations picked up Carlton daffodils for planting in other public spaces across the city. We can’t wait to see the city draped in yellow as these bulbs bloom in March!
