October 13, 2023 From 3-6PM we ask that you choose an hour to lend a helping hand in the Vandeventer Neighborhood Community Healing and Meditation Garden. 3-4 4-5 5-6 An hour of volunteer effort will give you 2 drink tickets to choose from Mocktails made from our Mocktail Pollinator garden area. Learn how to make delicious “non-alcoholic” beverages, sip, enjoy and then try them in your own home garden delights! Description: Description WHAT: Volunteers will be cleaning up litter along the River des Peres Watershed WHEN: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, October 28th. Volunteer check-in will begin at 8:45 AM. Volunteers receive a FREE River des Peres Trash Bash shirt! Please include your t-shirt size in the notes when registering. T-shirts are on a first come, first served basis. Some sizes may not be available for volunteers. WATERSHED FESTIVAL All volunteers are invited to River des Peres Watershed Coalition's Watershed Festival after the trash bash! Join us at Willmore Park (7200 Hampton Ave) for a food truck, live music, and our Passport to Clean Water educational program for kids.
