Rose Mallow in the Demonstration Garden
Rose Mallow in the Demonstration Garden
We are so excited to share that the first rose mallow has bloomed in the Demonstration Garden! This native hibiscus, hibiscus lasiocarpus, produces many large pink blooms in the heat of the summer. White with pink centers are also commonly found along the edge of ponds and streams. Rose mallow thrives in full sun and wet or moist soil. Flowers, up to 6″ across, bloom for many weeks in mid-summer.
Come on by the Demonstration Garden and see this beautiful flower!
